Details: Zones
The Details tab displays key information about the zone.
The following fields are displayed on the Zone Details page:

ID/Name: Identifying fields for the zone. The Zone ID field is used to uniquely identify the zone. The Name field is typically more descriptive and does not need to be unique. The Zone ID and Name fields are both displayed in the Zone List.

Color: Color to display in Work Order List for assets associated with this zone.
In order for zone color to be displayed in Work Order List, the Work Order Preference for Show Zone Colors in Work Order List must be set to yes / on.

Category: The category for the zone, if applicable.

Supervisor: The supervisor for the zone.

Repair Center: The repair center to which this zone is associated. For a new zone, this field will default to the logged in user's repair center.
Repair Center is a required field for zone records.

Budget: The budget associated with this zone, which can be used for reporting.

Address/Phone/Fax: Address and phone information for the zone.

Status: A check box used to specify if the zone is active. Clear this check box if the zone is inactive to ensure that it does not show up in Zone lookups or filters. The zone continues to be available in the Zone module list.

Email: An email address for the zone.

Comments: A field that can be used to enter additional comments about the record. The View/Edit Text button at the top-right of the field can be used to open a larger editing area.

Icon: An icon to display in Zone lookups and list.
Attach an icon:

Click the Attach button.
The Change Icon window opens.

Use the page controls at the bottom of the window to navigate through the available choices.

Click the icon you want to use.
The icon will be highlighted.

Click Apply.
The icon is displayed on the Details page.
